BBC breakfast host Naga Muchetty celebrated 'winning at life' after she was knocked back from buying wine. The popular news presenter, 46, tried to buy wine at her local supermarket but was refused service because she didn't have ID on her proving her age.
Naga celebrated the moment and took to Twitter to share the exciting moment with her 254,000 followers. "Am winning at life in a small way this morning...
Just been refused to be sold a bottle of wine at the local supermarket by the lovely lady at the till because I had no I.D. YES!" she wrote.
Her fans rejoiced the small triumph with her, with other journalists sharing their similar experiences. “I got ‘carded’ recently to see if I was over 25 in a supermarket.
