BBC Breakfast is honing in on Dan Walker's replacement, according to a leading bookmaker. Tomorrow Dan, 46, will say goodbye to his presenting role on the Beeb's flagship show after six years.
The star has signed a deal with Channel 5 that will see him host the news and present primetime shows. While his successor hasn't officially been announced, Ladbrokes believe it's almost certain Jon Kay will be the man to take over.
The 52-year-old has worked on Breakfast since 2010 and often fills in for its main hosts. Labrokes spokesman Alex Apati told the Star: “It’s looking increasingly likely that BBC chiefs have found Dan Walker’s replacement.
