An Ayrshire woman battling cancer for a second time is set to raise vital funds at The Beatson Cancer Charity's annual 10k walk.Brave Lisa Adam, from North Ayrshire, was first diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2005 then again in 2020 with a form of gynaecological cancer.Now the 43-year-old primary school teacher is spending her time getting ready for the 10k walk which is due to take place on Sunday, August 28, in Glasgow’s west end in a bid to generate funds for future cancer patients and their families.

Lisa will be escorted on the day by her adorable five-year-old son and husband.
