Ayrshire motorists have reported 'treacherous' driving conditions after snow arrived in the early hours of this morning.Drivers say that many of the motorways and A-roads are passable but many residential streets are difficult to navigate this morning.A number of motorists have reported that the majority of the snow has turned to slush and is causing difficult driving conditions.One driver said: "Main roads like the A71 and A76 seem to be fine but a lot of other streets on housing estates are absolutely treacherous."The Met Office yesterday issued a yellow weather warning for snow which is still in place this morning.The warning read: "Areas of snow are expected to develop during Thursday evening and the early hours of Friday."Snow may.
