Ayrshire has been severely reprimanded by the industry watchdog for a series of failings which put young people under his supervision at risk of harm.Ian Savage searched Facebook for people and showed those results to a young person – despite their support plan forbidding access to social media.Savage, whose town of employment was listed as Mauchline in the papers, was also found to have left dispensed medication “unattended” and completed a Medication Administration Record (MAR) chart to say drugs had been administered when they had not.The investigation also found that Savage’s failings resulted in a young person consuming medication which was intended for another; but that he “failed” to seek medical advice or support and “did not report.
