Ayr United's Women will bid to complete a dream Scottish Cup double as a weekend of knockout action continues. The Ayr girls face Glasgow Women tomorrow afternoon with a place in the last eight of their own tournament up for grabs.Craig Potter's side are gearing up for the biggest match in their history as they welcome the SWPL 1 side to Cumnock's Townhead Park.

Ayr star Clare Docherty, who's bagged six goals in her last four games, told the Ayrshire Post: "It's an absolutely massive occasion for us. "Glasgow are two leagues above us so we're the underdogs, but we know what we're capable of on our day."Win this and we'd be one game from a Hampden semi-final, which would be incredible progress from where we were at the start of the season."Ayr's cup carnival weekend will be fully embraced with the club's Pandamonium mascot en route to Townhead Park.Meanwhile, today's match mascot for the men's cup game against Elgin City will also turn out to represent the women tomorrow.Clare said: "We've also got girls from the Academy coming to walk out with the players and we're taking two minibuses from the club with supporters."We want it to be a great occasion.

Our team has steadily been gaining more recognition and is such a big part of everything within the overall club now."This is just the next step and we're delighted to be going out and representing Ayr on this stage."Clare added: "I've got relatives coming to watch this game who've never seen me play before, but I'm trying not to let that pressure get to me."As a team we just have to go out there and concentrate on our game.

The rest will take care of itself." Tomorrow's game kicks off at Townhead Park, Cumnock Juniors at 3pm. Admission £3.
