East Kilbride have been booted out of the South Challenge Cup again after Auchinleck Talbot successfully appealed their elimination over an 'ineligible' player row.Talbot had defeated the Lowland League side 1-0 to move into a quarter-final tie against Caledonian Braves on April 1, but fielding goalkeeper Josh Bradley-Hurst, who they signed on an emergency loan from League One club Clyde, and who was cup-tied, saw them booted out of the competition. That put East Kilbride back in the competition and they were preparing to face their Lowland League neighbours, only to be turfed out again.Bradley-Hurst, who played for Clydebank against Pollok earlier in the competition, was signed because Marc Fisher - another new signing - had played for Troon in an earlier round.Talbot argued immediately that the information they had been provided with suggested that Bradley-Hurst was eligible.Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
