Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

It has been reported that Holly Willoughby is heading into a legal battle against her former agents worth a massive £10million.

This Morning presenter Holly has allegedly hired top-class lawyers as she faces the legal battle with YMU, arising from a dispute regarding commission and contracts.

This commission is amounting to a whopping seven-sum figure, which Holly is not giving away lightly. YMU, who also represents celebrities such as Phillip Schofield, Amanda Holden and Ant and Dec, are looking for so-called sunset provisions by which agents collect a commission from a celebrity who has left them.

This would mean that if any of Holly’s contracts that she signed when she was with the agency were renewed, they would get a cut of it, her ITV
