Officers were called to reports that a male had been stabbed at the park near Whitlow Avenue in Altrincham at around 4.35pm on Tuesday afternoon (June 15).
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with potentially life changing injuries. He remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
