Armed police arrest four men and fish drugs out of canal in Ancoats

Greater Manchester Police said officers were alerted to reports of drug dealing on New Islington Street near Keepers Quay at around 1pm yesterday.

Armed officers raced to the scene and made a number of arrests. Two bags of drugs were also fished out of the nearby canal.
