A string of inappropriate messages purporting to be from an Uber Eats delivery driver were posted on social media after a customer was left 'shaken up'.

Messages in the app appear to have been sent after an order was placed in Tameside in the early hours of Tuesday (February 4).

Screenshots have been shared 5,000 times on social media. A customer appears to have been asked 'are you married?' and 'are you alone at home?'.

Another message read: "I want to f*** you." The incident was reported to Uber Eats bosses, who are now conducting an investigation.
