During an appearance on Ireland AM on Tuesday morning, Aoibhin Garrihy expressed her sadness that her parents are missing out on her children’s milestones.

The Garrihys are a famously close-knit family but due to restrictions in place in Ireland over the last year, everyone has been missing out on special moments they would usually share together.

The former Fair City actress is living in Co Clare while the rest of her family are based in Dublin and thanks to COVID, inter-county travel is currently not allowed.

Aoibhin shared that she is missing her family and is very aware of her parents missing out on seeing their grandkids. She admitted: ‘I’m definitely missing the gang.
