Yet another anti-vaxxer has died of COVID-19. According to reports, Czech folk singer Hana Horka passed away after purposely catching the coronavirus in an attempt to get a health pass that would give her access to the sauna and theater.

Her son, Jan Rek, confirmed the news in an interview with public radio iRozhlas.cz, explaining that his mother, the vocalist for the band Asonance, died on Sunday after contracting the Delta variant at the age of 57. He explained that instead of keeping away, his mother deliberately stayed in close contact with them, sharing: In the Czech Republic, proof of vaccination or a recent infection is required to be able to travel, and to get into pretty much any public facility, including bars and restaurants.

Unsurprisingly, Horka was excited to use her “Get Out of Quarantine” card. Two days before her death, she wrote on social media: Unfortunately, the songbird didn’t get to do any of those things.
