A resident at an Annan care home has died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid after an outbreak at the facility.Admissions and transfers to Lydiafield Care Home were suspended after residents and members of staff were diagnosed with coronavirus.A health board spokesman told the Standard that one person had died in the last week and the number of cases now stands at a total of 16.He said: “Very sadly, within the past week a resident at Lydiafield Care Home has died within 28 days of a positive test.“Thoughts are with the residents and staff at the care home during this difficult time.“Currently, a total of 16 positive Covid-19 cases have been recorded across residents and staff.“The operator of this care home has been faced with a
