Angus Gunn 'tracked' by Rangers as Michael Beale ramps up summer goalkeeper search
dailyrecord.co.ukAngus Gunn is one of the goalkeepers Rangers are reportedly targeting in the summer, according to a report.Ibrox boss Michael Beale revealed the Light Blues have a list of up to four potential shot-stoppers who they could bring in and now Norwich City man Gunn, son of former Aberdeen and Scotland goalkeeper Bryan, is said to be one of them.The Scottish Sun say that Gunn is known to Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson from his time at Southampton, where the 27-year-old spent three years after leaving Manchester City where he came through the ranks and before moving to Carrow Road.
Gunn is a former England Under-21 international and was called up by Gareth Southgate for a Three Lions training camp before the 2018 World Cup.
But he could yet play for Scotland and follow his father who won six caps.The keeper has been bombed out at Norwich City when David Wagner took over at the Championship side.
Allan McGregor and Jon McLaughlin have struggled to nail down the No. 1 spot this season with each being given their chance by Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Michael Beale.
