Hibs' hierarchy have reportedly been left stunned by Jim Goodwin after he claimed Ryan Porteous cheated against Aberdeen. The Edinburgh Evening News state the Irishman's full-throttle verdict verdict was met with a dim view by decision makers at Easter Road in the aftermath of the 3-1 win on Saturday.

Goodwin's ire stemmed from the penalty incident which led to Hibs ' equaliser and Liam Scales seeing red for a second bookable offence as the pair tangled inside the box.

Goodwin claimed he warned match official David Dickinson pre-match about the Hibs defender and that the man in the middle had fallen “hook, line and sinker” by pointing to the spot.

But those comments have not been received well in Leith, and it's understood they have contacted the Granite City side and made it clear their unhappiness after Goodwin's scathing verdict.
