Amy Hart clarified whether or not ITV producers can hear Love Island contestants on the toilet as she responded to a concerned fan recently. The former Islander shared the details of what goes down when someone needs a bathroom break on Tik Tok, as one follower was eager to know if the experience was awkward at all with any crew members listening in.
Amy, 29, explained: “They have someone watching and when you go into the toilet, they turn your mic off, but it's only one person in the toilet at any time. “There is a camera in the toilet, but it’s a security camera and it only gets looked at if something happened and they needed it to see how you fell and hit your head or something.
So they don’t listen to you weeing or pooing and they don’t watch you either.” The TV star appeared on the fifth series of Love Island in 2019 and had many behind-the-scenes secrets to share with her fans as she opened up about what it was really like being on the ITV dating show.
Amy continued to discuss the levels of privacy the contestants have in the villa as she was asked where the Islanders get changed. “Yes we do get changed in the dressing room or in the bedroom.
