Amir Khan has opened up on the joys of having a separate house from his wife Faryal Makhdoom.The 33 year old, who recently welcomed his first son Muhammad Zaviyar Khan, known as Zaviyar, in February, spoke exclusively to OK!

about how having his own "lad pad" has made his relationship with his other half stronger over the years.Their main family home is a four-bedroom house which features a walk-in wardrobe for 28 year old Faryal as well as an entire room for Amir's vast collection of trophies.

However, both the light-welterweight world champion and his wife of seven years, who also share daughters Lamaisah, five, and one year old Alayna, agree that the best part is the separate two-bedroom house.
