‘American Housewife,’ ‘Mixed-ish,’ ‘For Life,’ ‘Rebel’ Canceled at ABC

Dua Lipa isn’t going to let no mic stop her from putting on a performance.

Sir Ian McKellen has opened up about his family life in a new BBC interview, expressing his wish that he had been able to tell his father that was gay before he died. In a conversation with Amol Rajan, the Lord of the Rings and X-Men actor recalled growing up in Wigan, where he and his family moved shortly before the outbreak of World War II. In 1988, the now-82-year-old came out publicly in a BBC radio interview, going on to co-found LGBT+ rights charity Stonewall the following year.

The loved-up pair jetted off to the French capital this week for Victoria Beckham‘s Fashion Week show and made the most of the gorgeous surroundings as they held a makeshift show of their own. In ridiculously sweet snaps, Mia, 19, can be seen photographing her footballer boyfriend, also 19, on the streets before the pair carefully inspect the results.

The network will film a new pilot for the series off-cycle.

Joe Otterson TV ReporterWWE is getting back on the road.The sports entertainment company announced Friday that it will return to its live touring schedule this summer, with a 25 city tour schedule set to run from July through Labor Day.The tour will kick off with three shows in Texas: a taping of “SmackDown” on July 16 at the Toyota Center in Houston; the “Money in the Bank” pay-per-view at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on July 18; and finally a taping of “Monday Night Raw” at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on July 19. Tickets for the three events will go on sale May 26 at 11 am ET.

ABC believes that its year-round development cycle will mean that it can give creators of pilots such as Kevin Costner’s National Parks and Epic from Once Upon a Time creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis a better shot of landing on the schedule.

In the history of television, there has been one milestone that sets shows apart, hitting the 100-episode mark. The series that make that earn the title of long-running hits and a shot at a long afterlife in off-network syndication and, as of recently, on streaming.

ABC has opted not to pick up comedy series American Housewife for a sixth season, the highest-rated ABC show not to get a renewal this year.
