Johnny Depp
John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, singer, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008), and has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor, among other accolades. He is regarded as one of the world's biggest film stars. Depp made his film debut in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street (1987–1990). He had a supporting role in Oliver Stone's 1986 war film Platoon and played the title character in the 1990 romantic fantasy Edward Scissorhands.

Amber Heard admits she hasn't yet paid the millions she promised to charities from Johnny Depp divorce

Amber Heard admitted that she has not donated millions of dollars to charity from her divorce settlement as she had previously promised - and blamed Johnny Depp for bringing legal action as to why.

The actress married Johnny in 2015, but the pair split a year later while their divorce was finalised in 2017. Depp is suing Heard for alleged defamation over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018, in which she said she was a victim of domestic abuse.

Despite not being named in the article, Johnny felt that it has painted him as a domestic abuser and he is seeking damages over the article – while Amber is counter suing him $100million (£81million) for his defamation claim.

Testifying on Monday (May 16), the court heard that Amber received a $7 million (£5.6 million) divorce settlement.
