Amandla Stenberg Reveals the Mistake She Made While Announcing Her 'Star Wars' Role

For those who don’t know, Amandla has landed a role in the upcoming Star Wars series The Acolyte. The Acolyte is set a century before the events of Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace, and promises to “depict the galaxy at the peak of the era of the High Republic, when the Jedi were at their strongest and the Sith were believed to have been eradicated from the galaxy,” according to Variety.
After her role was announced at Comic-Con, Amandla put up a post on Instagram that she says contained a mistake that Lucasfilm wanted fixed. Click inside to check out what she said… “I get this text that’s kind of like ‘red alert, red alert.
