However, Alfie shattered the romantic illusion on Friday's Lorraine as he claimed the couple had a "microwave meal" served on a "plastic plate".
During the chat, host Lorraine Kelly quipped: "Alfie, you were in Love Island..." To which the singer responded: "Thanks for that Lorraine, yeah, I was... "It was an interesting moment, do you know what is really weird, they're having this romantic microwaved meal..." With his duet partner Michael Ball asking: "Is it microwaved?" To which Alfie continued: "Literally, look, on a plastic plate!
