The £40 product, which is said to be just as effective as Dunelm's, which costs the same price, has been branded a 'life saver' by some who say it heats a room without having to put the heating on.
Now the energy price cap has gone up again, millions of Brits are looking for ways to stay warm while keeping their heating costs as low as possible.
Argos' £25 blanket has been praised by shoppers as an effective way of staying warm all night for 1p. Others are looking to heated clothes dryers, like Dunelm's £40 model which costs a measly 7p to run.
