Albion Rovers boss Brian Reid is looking for a reaction to Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Stenhousemuir when Elgin City visit this evening, and says they have no choice but to bounce back. With 12 games left in the League Two season, Rovers are sitting ninth in the table, just a point above basement side Bonnyrigg Rose.Rovers also host third-placed Annan Athletic on Saturday, but Reid is only looking at Elgin for the time being, who are two places and six points ahead of them in the table, and with a game in hand.Reid was left bitterly disappointed at Ochilview on Saturday when his side dominated the first half but went in at 0-0, only to be hit by two quick goals from Nat Wedderburn in 49 minutes and Matty Yates three minutes later. He said: “We need to bounce back, and at least we’ve got the game on Tuesday to get it out of our system.“But we need to perform at the levels and be clinical in front of goal.“It’s alright dominating games and being the better team, but you’ve got to take your chances.“That’s something we’ve got to do, and we spoke about it after the game on Saturday.“Elgin is a big game for us, as every game is.“There are only 12 games left, so we’ve got to concentrate on winning games, one game at a time, and that’s what we’ve got to do.”Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
