Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Alastair Campbell accidentally "announced" that Queen Elizabeth had died in a huge blunder on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday 12 May, before apologising.
The presenter, who has been hosting the ITV morning show alongside Susanna Reid this week, made the gaffe as he chatted with Vinnie Jones, who appeared via video link on the show.
He said: “We talked a lot about Prince Philip after the death of the Queen.” As moments passed, Alastair addressed his mistake and later corrected himself.
Presenter Alastair told viewers: “Can I just say something, I think I may have accidentally announced the death of the Queen.
