Adorable! A Zebra And Her Baby Zonkey

peoplemagazine.co.zaA zebra surprised everyone when she delivered a cute little foal who looked quite different to normal zebra babies. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (SWT), known worldwide for it’s elephant orphanage and rewilding the orphans back into the bush, were the first to spot this unusual foal.
Rob Brandford of the Trust says when they were able to catch a good look at the mom and foal, they noticed that instead of brown and white stripes that the babies are born with, this one was mainly a tawny colour with stripey legs.
Puzzled they thought perhaps the baby had wallowed in mud, but that turned out to be not the case. Brandford recounts how the adventurous lass came to be under their protection and gave birth in her new home. “The SWT/Kenya Wildlife
