The 33-year-old “Easy on Me” superstar’s latest studio album, 30, is now the first album in over a year to sell a million copies in the United States, Billboard confirmed Tuesday (December 7). across all of its formats (CD, vinyl LP, cassette and digital album download), via the music outlet. It sold 692,000 copies in its first week in the U.S., and 225,000 copies in its second week. (Note: traditional album sales are different from equivalent album units.) The last new released album to sell a million copies in the U.S.
