Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.

The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.

Ed Sheeran and Carly Pearce are among the performers lined up for the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards which will stream on Prime Video from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas on May 11. Hardy, Jordan Davis, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, and Miranda Lambert are also set to perform. ACM Entertainer Of The Year nominee, Morgan Wallen will no longer be performing at the 2023 ACM Awards after revealing that he has been placed on a strict six-week vocal rest.

The full rebroadcast will be available to watch the next day on Friday, May 12 for free on Amazon Freevee. Ed Sheeran will make his debut on the ACM Awards stage having just released his new studio album “-” (Subtract) and also on hihis “+ – = ÷ x” (Mathematics) World Tour.

Last week, Ed Sheeran was found not guilty of copying Marvin Gaye‘s song “Let’s Get It On” with his hit “Thinking Out Loud.”
