ABC Axes Two Primetime Dramas After Just One Season

Just a few hundred miles south but a world away, Carlos Rincón and sisters Juana and Rosa Sánchez cross the U.S. border from Mexico in search of a better life ABC also decided to shockingly cancel Queens, which starred Brandy, Naturi Naughton, Eve and Nadine Velazquez, after just one season.
The series centered on four estranged and out-of-touch women in their 40s — Naomi, Jill, Brianna and Valeria — who reunite for a chance to recapture their fame and regain the swagger they had as their ’90s group that made them legends in the hip-hop world.
