But we have confirmed that this isn’t true. It was just a fun post. And quite frankly, it might not even be possible to make a new “Friday the 13th” movie at this juncture.As is exhaustively detailed in this article, the “Friday the 13th” rights have been locked in a highly contested legal battle between Victor Miller, the screenwriter of the original “Friday the 13th” and that film’s director and producer, Sean Cunningham, who oversaw the rest of the franchise.
